Smoking really is harmful, but its danger is greatly exaggerated by anti-tobacco activists. And sometimes it’s too much. There is such a phenomenon called “a syndrome of a former smoker”. Almost any individual who quitted smoking, starts hating smokers with a perfect hatred. It is this hatred that developed into a vigorous campaign against smoking. They are trying to limit our freedom and make us act the way they want.
The real harm of smoking
Smoking has a small damage on the overall health of the person as a whole, the most sufficient impact it has on lungs and teeth. “Most sufficient” doesn’t mean crucial. A much greater harm to human health is caused by living in ecologically unfavorable conditions (every major city). Air pollution affects the lungs (more than smoking), while a variety of radiation constantly have a negative impact on the body. Along with poor nutrition it all has a destructive effect on the body as a whole.

What smokers should do?
If you get the pleasure of smoking and you have no objective reason to give it up – keep on smoking and just don’t pay attention to the propaganda. If you live in a major city and government measures against smoking are really stressful, it may be a reason to give us this habit.
