How do you use the SCAN function in Windows 10 when the wireless scanner is on a router?

In most cases, you need to use the scanner manufacturer's software. Microsoft Windows not able to work with almost all network scanners. Please tell me your scanner model and I will answer you in more detail.

First, that you need - install the HP Photosmart Software Suite and Driver on your PC. You can download it on the HP support site

To scan a document to your computer, follow the instructions:

1. Load original.

a. Lift lid on product:

b. Load original print side down on right front corner of glass:

2. Start scan.
a. On the Home screen, highlight Scan, and then press OK.
b. Highlight Scan to PC, and then press OK.


If product is network-connected, a list of available computers appears. Select
computer to which you want to transfer to start the scan.
